Customer Solution
ServiceNOW’s CMDB is a central repository of the enterprise’s IT assets, IT admin. The client wanted to leverage the CMDB for getting the list of workloads which are managed/un-managed in Illumio PCE. Crest developed a ServiceNow application for Illumio PCE, which majorly fetches the workloads form Illumio PCE along with CMDB correlation. The application builds this correlation on a pre-defined configurable frequency and keeps the mappings up-to-date. IT admin can use this correlated information to sync the workload properties on Illumio PCE. It also allows the IT admin to figure out a list of un-managed workloads in PCE and integrate with Change management. Using Change management, the VEN agent installation is enforced.
